A Little About Sydnie:

I am a real estate broker with Lake & Company Real Estate, one of Seattle's top independent offices. With 16 years of experience in the business, I have consistently achieved top producer status in my office. I consider myself incredibly fortunate to have a career that I am truly passionate about.
 
Having been born and raised in Washington, I have called Seattle home for over 26 years. This city is more than just a place to me; it's a part of who I am. I take immense pride in being deeply familiar with its neighborhoods, communities, and the unique characteristics that make it such a remarkable place.
 
Currently, I reside in the vibrant neighborhood of Green Lake with my two wonderful daughters and our naughty pups, Roy and Earl. Over the course of my career, I have successfully navigated through both challenging and prosperous real estate markets. Regardless of the conditions, I always find innovative ways to remain competitive and deliver exceptional results for my clients. It is my genuine pleasure to meet with you and discuss the proven techniques and strategies that have helped my clients achieve their goals in this dynamic market. Why Did I Decide to Become a REALTOR®?

It seemed only natural that my career path would lead me to become a real estate agent. I have a long history in the client service industry. In college, I was a part-time nanny and spent my summers working in restaurants. I also spent 10 years in the medical sales industry. But my favorite job is real estate agent, which allows me to combine my pleasure for working with clients and my passion for real estate.
 
For most people, buying a house is the biggest investment they’ll ever make. Selecting the right agent is critical. It can make or break your real estate experience. When I represent my clients in their real estate buying or selling needs, they can expect the utmost in client service. As a listing agent, I provide full services, including professional staging, magazine-quality photos and virtual 3-D tours to bring in buyers from outside the state and country. My weekends are generally spent helping clients get their houses ready for market. Additionally, I am constantly reviewing offers, which informs my own ability to write compelling and competitive offers for my buying clients.
 
My goal is to make this process a relationship and not a transaction. I pride myself in the quality of my relationships not only with clients, but with lenders, contractors and other real estate agents. From starting the loan process to navigating the home search to recommending electricians, landscapers or even hairdressers, I always deliver. While I’ve been fortunate to have many repeat clients, I also love working with new home buyers and those who are listing homes for the first time!

Every day you are bombarded with the media's constant headlines reading, “US Housing Market Crashes!”, or “Foreclosure Rates at All Time High So Good Luck Selling!” And of course, with every article comes every opinion, my wife and I after many hours of contemplation decided it was time to take a risk and try and sell our townhome to take advantage of the “low home prices.” Our neighbor's townhouse had been sitting on the market for nearly 4 months with no offers and dropped in price by nearly $35,000. We knew what we were up against trying to sell our townhome in this market a week and a half before Christmas, and knew the only way to really beat the odds was to find the right realtor who understood how to make it happen. Once word gets out that you are interested in selling, (especially nowadays) every friend you know comes knocking on your front door referring to this person or that person. So needless to say we had our fair share of agent interviews. It’s not cheap to sell your house and you should have an agent that delivers what you are paying for, and in my opinion that is above excellent service. We must have heard the “speech” from nearly 20 agents and were convinced that none of them had the skills to make it happen. Even our neighbor's realtor from Windermere with over 19 years in the Ballard or Seattle market could not close their deal. Lucky for us, however, we stumbled upon an agent named Sydnie Taylor from Lake Realty. During the initial phone interview, she mentioned that she partnered with an agent named Danny Adamson. We decided to give them a shot and We are so glad we did. Sydnie and Danny came to the house and we were given the royal treatment from their first breath. Once we heard how Lake Realty, Sydnie, and Danny worked to sell the property, we were sold. The thing that set them apart from the other agents was their realistic expectations and understanding of the importance of attention to detail. This detail was carried throughout everything they did. From the sign in the front, the MLS listing, photos, Brokers Open, Open Houses, etc. to sitting by our side during the final title signing, Sydnie and Danny never skipped a beat.
